Corporate identity

The Business and Innovation Centre of Madeira (CEIM / BIC Madeira) as an institution directly linked to innovation and the local business environment, the Business and Innovation Centre of Madeira (CEIM / BIC Madeira) necessarily needs to convey and always be associated with these values.

In order to identify CEIM’s image with the increasingly contemporary aesthetics of globalization and “global village” perspectives, a new image was created: “more organic and voluptuous, thus conveying the constantly changing, free wave of thought and innovation, whether creative or technical”

The previous logo was changed and a new graphic look or layout was introduced, in which “the whole is represented, without falling into vulgarity or merely aesthetic solutions. The symbol calls for verticality and a pro-active corporate movement.”

“The dot over the “i” was worked to give the expression of the concept of innovation being the main centre of the logo, where it generates the dynamism and progress, as well as represents the human being as responsible for this bursting forth of emotions allied to the corporate and innovative world”. “The colours used are intended to convey the formal corporate world, with the use of the colour blue, without forgetting an element of audacity and change, associated with the colour orange. These two colours are combined to create dynamism and contrasts that transmit brightness.”
