{"id":15758,"date":"2023-01-30T21:26:20","date_gmt":"2023-01-30T21:26:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/startupmadeira.eu\/?p=15758"},"modified":"2024-12-02T16:50:24","modified_gmt":"2024-12-02T16:50:24","slug":"hack-your-health-gaming-hackathon-2-3-de-fevereiro","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/startupmadeira.eu\/en\/2023\/01\/30\/hack-your-health-gaming-hackathon-2-3-de-fevereiro\/","title":{"rendered":"Hack your Health &gt; Gaming Hackathon | 2nd &amp; 3rd february"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We,<strong>&nbsp;Startup Madeira<\/strong>within the activities of the eGames Lab consortium, will be organizing a&nbsp;<strong>hackathon<\/strong>&nbsp;directed to the health area:&nbsp;<strong>Hack Your Health!<\/strong>&nbsp;This initiative will be based on&nbsp;<strong>Serious Games<\/strong>&nbsp;- which by definition are games with objectives beyond simple entertainment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative will take place at The Views Monumental Hotel on February 2nd and 3rd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this hackathon,&nbsp;<strong>the teams<\/strong>&nbsp;will be challenged&nbsp;<strong>to develop and create games\/activities<\/strong>&nbsp;for integration into Musiquence (Music + Sequence)&nbsp;<strong>platform<\/strong>&nbsp;- a platform&nbsp;<strong>developed by a group of researchers from the University of Madeira.<\/strong>&nbsp;Musiquence uses a complementary non-pharmacological approach, contributing to gains in cognitive functioning, mood, and quality of life.
