The Future of Hospitality Sector: Innovation, efficiency and results<\/h2>\n

Startup Madeira and UMa host Hotel event in Funchal<\/h3>\n

October 16, 2019 \u2013 Col\u00e9gio dos Jesu\u00edtas<\/h4>\n

B-Guest<\/a>, Climber<\/a>, HiJiffy<\/a>, InfraSpeak<\/a>, e Virtual Power Solutions (VPS)<\/a> are the five Portuguese startups linked to the hotel industry present at the next Hotel-up(www.hotel-up.net<\/a>) event, a consortium with the objective of boosting digital innovation in the hotel sector in Portugal. After the 1st edition in 2017, Hotel-up returns to the island with the support of Startup Madeira and the University of Madeira. This event, with the theme \u201cThe future Hospitality: Innovation, efficiency and results\u201d, intends to be, thus, a sharing space, which will have guest Hotels that will share their experiences with the implemented technological innovations, and actively contribute to the discussion. The five startups together represent an investment of 8.4M \u20ac, still employing 105 employees. They work daily with 124 clients and more than 600 hotel units, such as Vila Gal\u00e9, Pestana, Porto Bay, Sheraton, The Vine. Hotel-up is currently present in 18 countries. The event will take place on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at the Col\u00e9gio dos Jesu\u00edtas - Rector of UMa, in Funchal, between 9:30 am and 12:30 pm. The conference will feature some of the main Madeiran hotel groups, contributing with their testimonies regarding the use of different technological solutions, namely Porto Bay Hotels & Resorts, Quintinha S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o and Four Views Hotels.<\/p>\n
