Within the scope of Co.nTe: Co-creating Madeira's Climate-Adapted Future with Novel Technology Schemes, an initial forum, the Opening Co.nTe Forum, will be held, marking the formal launch of the activities of this project, which is part of the European Urban Initiative, and co-funded by the European Union.

These partners, which include local authorities and institutions dedicated to research, innovation, and entrepreneurship, share the common goal of promoting sustainable urban development. The project will run until June 2029, with a focus on climate resilience and sustainable agriculture.

The main objective of Co.nTe is to co-create a climate-adapted future for Madeira, harnessing the potential of generative artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and participatory governance models.

This event will take place on 25 February , at 14h00, at the Madeira Press Museum (Câmara de Lobos) and will be attended by the project partners as well as several external guests, including public and private entities, farmers, strategic stakeholders, and institutional representatives, who will join this moment of presentation and contextualisation of the project.
