From 09 to 30 june applications are open for the 6th edition of startNOW – Madeira’s acceleration programme for innovative ideas.

This is a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to develop products or services in areas such as Science, Culture, Sports, Circular Economy, Energy, Creative Industries, IoT, Mobility, Health & Wellbeing, Logistics, Sustainability, Web Solutions, Digital Transformation, and Social & Environmental Impact. Opportunities are also open in Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR), Artificial Intelligence, Biotechnology, Digital Education & Training, Smart Cities, FoodTech, FinTech, and other emerging fields shaping the future.

With mentoring and coaching sessions,  startNOW is designed for entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas that have scaling potential and are ready to be implemented. Throughout the programme, teams will have the chance to launch or restructure an idea, design a solution, build a business model, and test a prototype. Winning teams may gain access to 6 months of learning, validation, and support to grow and evolve, along with financial support of up to €18,500 per team.

The startNOW  does not require a specific educational background or minimum level of schooling. What truly matters is the potential of the idea and the talent of the team to develop and commercialise it within 6 months.

Applications must be submitted by teams of 1 to 4 members, all aged 18 or over at the time of registration.

The startNOW is promoted by the Regional Government of Madeira through Startup Madeira. It is co-financed by the Madeira 2030 Regional Programme, through FEDER, as part of the start2030 – Madeira Empreende e Inova project.
