On 23 September, the exclusive Acceleration Programme for entities within the eGames Lab consortium organised by Startup Madeira, will begin. The programme will run for 4 days over the course of 4 weeks, in a fully online format, requiring a weekly commitment of 3 hours from participants.
This is aimed at the teams of startups and companies within the eGames Lab consortium, with a particular focus on financial, management, and business profiles, including more technical roles, as well as any consortium member interested in accelerating the growth and sustainability of their projects. This framework promotes a multidisciplinary approach, recognising that the success of a project depends not only on funding, but also on areas such as business modelling, marketing, team management, legal aspects, and of course, technical and creative excellence.
The Acceleration Programme focuses on empowering the founders and teams of startups and companies that are part of the eGames Lab consortium. By promoting skill development and investment readiness, as well as mastery of essential management tools and the growth of consortium members, the programme provides strategic guidance on how teams should prepare for the next investment cycle, strengthen financial autonomy, and continue scaling their projects sustainably. The training also includes identifying future opportunities such as Horizon Europe programmes, the EIC Accelerator, venture capital, crowdfunding, and others.
The programme includes two training sessions (23 september and 14 october) featuring speakers: Francisco Moreira (Gaming Ecosystem Expert), Paulo Andrez (Angel Investor | Bestselling Author "Zero Risk Startup") e João Ornelas Camacho (Morais Leitão). It also stands out for two weeks of 1:1 mentoring (30 september e 7 october) between registered entities and mentors: Francisco Moreira (Gaming Ecosystem Expert), Joanna Buganik (Research, Publishing e Marketing) e Michael Godby (Human Resources and Team Management). The programme will also be attended and moderated by Carlos Soares Lopes, Inês Rodrigues e Sílvia Almeida from Startup Madeira.
Whether you're responsible for financial management, market strategy, or the artistic and technical creation of games, this programme is designed to support you in building stronger, more sustainable, and more innovative projects.Junta-te a nós!
