Startup Madeira will host the 3rd edition of GameJam+ Madeira, an intensive 48-hour game development marathon, organised as part of the global GameJam+.

GameJam+ Madeira will take place simultaneously with all GameJams organised worldwide. At 19h do dia october 17th [sexta-feira], the rganisers will announce the theme and guidelines that teams must follow during the game development process.

Between 17th [friday], 18th [saturday] and october 19th [sunday], teams will focus on developing a game concept and prototype. During this period, they will receive support from expert mentors in various areas, including game design, marketing and monetisation, development, sound engineering, among others.

At the end of the third day, october 19th, [sunday] teams must submit their game on the global platform, which will then be evaluated by the global jury. The ideas/games selected by the jury at a global level will advance to the incubation phase, should the teams wish to continue in the process.

This programme is organised by Startup Madeira, as part of the activities of the eGames Lab, consortium with the support Digital Valley Portugal.

The 3rd edition GameJam+ Madeira will take place from october 17th and 19th .
