With the aim of promoting entrepreneurship and technological innovation, Startup Madeira once again assumes the role of knowledge partner at the conference “Innovation and the Future”, this time under the theme "Women in Tech". The event is organised by Diário de Notícias Madeira and NOS Madeira and will take place at Vidamar Hotels & Resorts on May 7 at 14:30 .

This conference will bring together female speakers on stage to address specific topics, including Nancy Brito with the theme "Investment: Women in Power!", Leonor Sottomayor on "Transformation: the Role of Technology", Isabel Carapeta focusing on "Reinventing the Future Using Technology" and Kathleen Figueiredo Laissy addressing the topic "Technology Is Not Neutral: Who Is Shaping the Future of Innovation?".

During an afternoon dedicated to innovation, technology and networking, this conference brings together founders, entrepreneurs, investors and other professionals from the technology sector to discuss the role of women in innovation and the digital economy. Aimed at the entrepreneurial community, students and investors, the initiative will feature speakers with international experience who will address topics such as investment, regulation, applied innovation and European policies, culminating in a networking moment entitled “Coffee & Connections”, designed to foster meaningful connections and strengthen the regional technology ecosystem.
