The first session of the "Startup Madeira UPTalks > Ecosystem Knowledge Sharing Sessions" will take place this Thursday, 9 July, at Startup Madeira. This event is dedicated to knowledge sharing in the fields of entrepreneurship, innovation, investment and technology, bringing together participants from the local entrepreneurial communities and the Digital Nomads Madeira Islands project.

"Judgment Is the Moat" is the theme of this first session, which will be conducted in English and will bring together Victor Lipov (Software Consultant & Developer), who will deliver a presentation entitled “AI That Actually Works: Fixing the Operations Behind the Startup”, sharing his experience in the practical use of AI to optimise operations and enhance business execution capabilities. This will be followed by a conversation with Sebastian Szczygiel (co-founder e CEO @ Primio), on “The Founder’s Journey: Building, Funding and Reinventing”, exploring the challenges and decisions associated with building, funding and scaling companies.

Throughout the afternoon, the guest speakers will explore the impact of Artificial Intelligence on the creation and growth of businesses. As AI makes it easier to develop products, automate processes and launch new ventures, the true differentiating factor becomes the ability to make strategic decisions: what to build, which problems to solve, and where human responsibility should remain. 

Participants in this session will also have the opportunity to use Startup Madeira’s co‑working space between 14:00 and 16:00, in a collaborative working environment that will allow them to get to know the incubator, establish new connections, and discover some of the projects and start-ups currently being developed within our incubator. The session will conclude with a networking moment, encouraging the exchange of ideas and the strengthening of relationships between members of the local and international ecosystem.
