eGames Lab > Ready to Play!
What if Madeira Island were the planet’s last green refuge in the year 3026?
It is within this futuristic imaginary, “The Green Heart”, that Startup Madeira launches the event “eGames Lab > Ready to Play!”.
From 24 april to 3 de maio, Madeira Shopping will host a collective mission where technology, creativity and education come together to bring the community closer to the thriving video games industry. Over the course of these ten days, the event challenges the community to take part in an immersive experience that brings together video games, sustainability and the talent of the eGames Lab consortium, funded through the Mobilising Agendas under the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).
More than a technological showcase, “eGames Lab > Ready to Play!" is a space for demonstrating the impact of this consortium on the creative economy and on the retention of qualified talent in Portugal. Startup Madeira, an incubator under the supervision of the Regional Secretariat for the Economy and a partner of this consortium, takes on the mission of energising the regional ecosystem by showcasing to the Madeiran public the results already achieved by our companies.
