He has a degree and a master's degree in Industrial Production Engineering from the Faculty of Science and Technology of Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FCT-UNL). He is a full member of the Order of Engineers in the College of Mechanics—an Official Industrial Property Agent in Portugal and a European Trade Mark and Design Agent at Inventa. Arbitrator at Arbitrare, he is also the author of several articles on Industrial Property. He participates as a speaker at various Industrial Property events aimed at universities, start-ups, entrepreneurs and organisations in the scientific and technological system.
