InnoMed Catalyst: Accelerator

Startup Madeira, as a regional partner of the InnoMedCatalyst Consortium, focused on catalysing regional innovation capacity within the MEDIC NEST Digital Precision Medicine ecosystem, announces the launch of the 1st edition of the acceleration programme.
The InnoMedCatalyst Accelerator Programme has been designed to support early-stage MedTech and HealthTech startups, spin-offs, and SMEs in developing their innovative solutions, with a focus on personalised, preventive, participatory, and precision digital healthcare.
This acceleration programme aims to bring together entrepreneurs and innovators within the InnoMedCatalyst community, where they can leverage the network to accelerate their products/services to market through tailored guidance. Over the course of 2 months, participants will gain access to expert-led webinars and a broad network of over 150 partners, investors, and mentors across Europe. Delivered fully online, the programme offers personalised mentoring and support to help participants take their innovative solutions to the next level and create lasting impact in the healthcare sector.

The application process is carried out via Life Science Open Space, a platform dedicated to promoting innovation, collaboration, and progress in the life sciences sector. This platform aims to connect researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts to enable the exchange of knowledge, cutting-edge projects, and partnership opportunities. Being part of this community allows for meaningful collaborations, exploration of emerging trends, and contribution to shaping the future of life sciences.
Consortium
A Startup Madeira is a regional partner of the InnoMedCatalyst which aims to enhance regional innovation capacity within precision and personalised medicine ecosystems across Europe. This consortium, led by the North-East Romania Regional Development Agency, includes 13 partners from 8 European countries: Belgium, Bulgaria, Spain, Greece, Italy, Poland, Portugal, and Romania. It brings together regional development agencies, clusters comprising laboratories, research centres, healthcare units, accelerators, and other key stakeholders.
