Archetypes and Narratives in Video Games
In this talk, Filipe Tomé will demystify the creative process behind the development of narratives in video games by drawing on archetypes from other narrative media. How can archetypes from literature, theatre and cinema be used in video games? How can we identify narrative structures and apply them effectively to games?
This seminar is ideal for concept artists, game designers, developers, students and enthusiasts interested in understanding narrative in video game development.
