Madeira Startup Retreat, a unique mix of a startup acceleration program and a relaxing retreat for Tourism & Travel startups.

Startup Madeira is now promoting the applications of the 2nd edition of Madeira Startup Retreat. This program is promoted by Startup Madeira, Turismo de Portugal and NOVA School of Business and Economics.

From February 4th to March 29th, 2019, Madeira Island will be welcoming 8 startups focused on Tourism & Travel. For 8 weeks, these startups will relocate to, work and share business experiences in Madeira Island. Each startup will be granted €4,000 euros for expenses.

The 1st edition gathered 61 registrations of travel & tourism startups, from 25 countries. From January to March of 2018, 9 startups spent 8 weeks in Madeira Island: Cheeese (Russia); Gym Nomad (The Netherlands); LifePinner (The Netherlands); MyBaseCamp (Austria); Personal Travels (Italy); RoomRaccoon (The Netherlands); Taxidio (India); Timescenery (UK); When In X (Macedonia).

The applications for the 2nd edition ends November 30th, 2018.
